I think every girl has woken up to a big blemish marring her face. I can't be the only one! If you have luck like mine you're blemish will appear on your most important days! Graduation? Picture day? First date? Hi there blemish welcome to my face! This is how I reduce the size and the redness of a blemish!
I discovered blotting papers by accident while I was still in high school. I was in Sephora and wanted to buy something but couldn't afford any of the big ticket items so I picked up a 10 dollar package of blotting papers. I quickly fell in love with this somewhat random product and now I swear by them! My skin isn't really oily, but I do touch my face a lot (Horrible! I know). And because of this bad habit I have excess oil on my face that causes breakouts. Sometimes I can feel the oil sitting on my face during the day and it drives me crazyyy! This is where blotting papers come in, they rid your face of excess oil without drying out your skin. That is a big deal for me, before blotting papers my skin was so dry but would also produce excess oil and make me breakout! It was so frustrating! A lot of these products say they come enriched with Vitamin E and A and Q and Y and whatever else but I really don't find a difference. All you really need is a decently absorbent piece of paper to soak up that extra oil. Full disclaimer it gets pretty rank seeing how much oil was on your face but it's so satisfying to clear it all away! 1. Sephora Brand Blotting Papers 2. Bosica Blotting Papers 3. I honestly don't know how I lived without blotting papers, they're just so useful! Do you love Blotting Papers too? Let me know below! This is a new thing I'm doing to help bring some positive energy into both my own life and yours! Each week I'll share with you something that brightened my week and offer you where to buy, make or see something similar! Now, without further ado here is my first 'Treat of the Week': Bare Minerals Lash Domination MascaraI am a mascara fiend, I've lost count of how many tubes of mascara I currently own! I have tubes for top lashes, tubes for bottom lashes, tubes solely for second coats, the list goes on! (Keep an eye out for that post). With all these tubes I would like to think I know my stuff when it comes to mascara. Lash Domination checks all my boxes. It's a thick formula that defines each lash separately, curls them, doesn't come off during the day and makes them black, black, black! Honestly I have pretty long lashes so I can't say how it works for lengthening but it seems to do a good job.
I received this as a deluxe free sample recently and am completely in love. I will definitely be purchasing a full size mascara. This was such a treat because not only did I find a new mascara for my collection but it worked awesome and it was free! I hope everyone has some sort of treat this week, feel free to share yours in the comments below! Buy this 'Treat of the Week' here and here. 1. Olive Oil, Sea Salt and Coconut Oil Mask:
