Are you guys loving Lola and Louis as much as I am? Does anyone wish TOTW was actually TOTWT? If people prefer it I could be persuaded to change it.
I know that this is way earlier than usual, originally I was going to call this 'Treat of the Week Tuesday' but I am a procrastinator and didn't trust myself to post this on time. So technically this is right on schedule. Onto the good stuff; this TOTW is featuring a new brand called Lola & Louis. I was lucky enough to do some (amateur) modelling for them and I fell in love with the brand! Below are some of the shots and a lot of the clothes. Also I'm totally not endorsed by this brand I just genuinely love them! Aren't those colours beautiful? I feel so lucky to have been asked to model for this company and therefor introduced to them. And they're based in my hometown too, how cool is that? You guys can find Lola and Louis on Etsy here, on Instagram here, or you can e-mail them here.

Does anyone remember in one of my first posts I rave about Barney's Warehouse and their awesome sales? No? Check it out here. Or just go to their website because it's time for a great sale! The sale is take an extra 40% off of clearance items and take 30% off shoes and clothing. I've trying to stay on budget whilst shopping the sale but it's been difficult. When there's Prada shoes for $223 it's hard to concentrate on things like saving money. Thankfully my desktop background is a travelling quote and it's been helping me stay on track! Even though I'm trying really hard not to shop doesn't mean you guys are. If you buy stuff share them with me, I need to live vicariously through you!
Happy Shopping This TOTW is courtesy of my older sister who is wonderful and gave me this item. These Michael Kors sunglasses are so beautiful and I'm obsessed with them. Seriously you guys I sit at work and stare at them when it's slow. (Which is a lot right now..) I love the retro feel of these glasses and with all of the gold details they're perfect for me. I've been wanting a pair of oversized glasses since I lost my last ones. Oops! I got these at the perfect time because the sun is finally up while I'm drive to/from work. My eyes are loving the shield and my style is loving the look of these! As promised in my OOTD here is my Target Haul. I didn't buy an insane amount of things but believe me I wanted to! I'm on a very strict budget right now (I want to travel a lot this year) so shopping is not something I've been doing very much of. This excursion may have put me over the budget... whoops! However I enlisted my sister to reign me in when I started to get a little spend happy and she helped me stay on track, sorta. (Thanks Ash) We decided to put everything we wanted in our cart and decide later if it was worth it or not. By the end of our trip there were so many things in our cart we started calling our trip 'The Great Debate of 2015.' Spoils from The Great Debate: White Kimono (I love the embroidery). Loofah. Navy blue romper. Black Hat (I'm planning to pop the felt so this is a round topped hat). Snake print flats. Rapunzel toy because I am a child at heart and I love Rapunzel. Full disclosure I bought coffee and washi tape as well but didn't include it. First because coffee is boring and second because I gave the washi tape to my sister so I didn't actually have it. Are you guys taking advantage of Targets crazy good sales? Feel free to share your shopping experience with me!
Spring is coming and I'm so exciting! With the warm weather I'm wearing this vest as much as possible. As every Canadian knows Target Canada is closing out and everything is on sale. So I went on a crazy target shopping spree and I needed an outfit with layers to easily try stuff on. I got quite a few good thing, I'll post my Target Haul in a few days here!
Over the past couple of weeks I've starting to follow a lot more travel blogs (I'm planning to do some traveling this year and want all the advice I can find)! I've noticed a trend: people love to talk about how beautiful the countries they're visiting are and not really how beautiful their home country is, or was. Before they left. I've also noticed that no one really travels to Calgary, Canada and I get it! Cow Town isn't terribly exciting (unless you're in oil and gas) but we can be quite beautiful. So I ventured out to find some of Calgary's more beautiful spots. This 'Treat of the Week' is dedicated to my adventure loving soul and my city! I am so lucky to live in such a beautiful city! Is this enticing anyone to visit Calgary, Ab? I hope so!
Topbox and Ipsy are two monthly beauty boxes I get and this post is where I compare the items I've received each month! Topbox is Canadian (therefor way cheaper for me) where as Ipsy is American (I have to add shipping costs and factor in the exchange rate). To read a more detailed description about each box read this.
Honestly I'm not overly excited about either of these boxes. In Ipsy one product is un-usable and some of my products are not even full. Topbox lets you set a wish list and I really really wanted the Benefit Box, I set it as number one in my wish list. But you can't have everything right? The winner this month: Ipsy. This box just had more make-up that will fit into my day to day life. If anyone wants an invite to Topbox or Ipsy feel free to email me here. I believe people with invites to Topbox will be accepted without being put on the waiting list! TopboxIpsy
